QUINTEN HOPE: BIOGRAPHY

From virutoso guitar player to platinum level composer and producer, Quinten Hope has all the credentials a professional musician should have. His latest masterpiece, "Start of a New Day", is the perfect example of his talents and features Will Lee from the David Letterman Band on bass and special appearances by Andy Timmons.

Quinten's passion for music led him to the University of North Texas where he studied Composition, Theory, Jazz, and Classical Guitar. He played and composed numerous pieces for the prestigious North Texas Lab Bands, several of which are still performed today. In 1997, he stepped onto the Country Music scene and was nominated "Best New Country Guitar Player" by the Dallas Country Music Awards. Quinten then turned his sights towards the blues circuit delighting crowds with his amazing solos and astonishing tone.

His first CD, "Aspects of the Soul", was an eagerly welcomed reflection of his Jazz influences. He formed the Quinten Hope Band out of those sessions to both support the album as well as provide a vehicle for his unique blend of diverse styles and inspirations. "Start of a New Day" has received rave reviews and follows the journey of a man's soul as it winds its way through ups and downs, sturggles and triumphs, and the tears of pain and joy.

Quinten Hope is also the featured guitarist at Prestonwood church whose services are broadcast on the Daystar channel for television, radio, internet and podcasts around the globe. Each week he supports a full orchestra and 500-voice choir for more than 25,000 people in attendance.

Between performing, writing, session work and producing, Quinten Hope's name has become more and more prominent on the 'hot list' of players and himself a highly sought after talent.
